no prob. My opinion to that film is a bit ambivalent bc I don't see a deeper sense in the storyline but concerning to the landscapes and at least the main character I like it. And with this little action there's more room for own fantasies^^

Their songs are really epic. I think they should dedicate a whole album to Wagner's Ring of Nibelung. Make it into a pagan metal opera.

I heard most of the old buildings in Dreden were destroyed during the Dresden raid in 1945. Ever been to Leipzig? I heard they have some great festivals there.

yep dresden was nearly destroyed but now there are only a few places in the centre that are not rebuilt yet because of archeological findings.

of course I've been to Leipzig. its architecture isn't as beautiful as in Dresden but you're right, there are the better festivals like Heidenfest, Paganfest, Wave Gothic Treffen etc. maybe I'll go to Heidenfest in October: Wintersun and Korpiklaani

I didn't know Heidenfest and Paganfest were there! I only knew about the Gothic Scene and some huge ass videogame convention held every year there. Who is billed for Paganfest in Leipzig?

I don't know the videogame con but there's a trade show for books every year with much cosplay and fantasy stuff too^^
Paganfest is always in spring, this year it was in March with Eluveitie, Primordial, Negura Bunget and Heidevolk but I wasn't able to go there :/

I have 4 tattoos yes They are all based on Norse Mythology as well to keep myself on the right path and my love for it of course and is my home
A Thor's Hammer on my arm, the Aegishjalmur on the back of my neck, and two roses mirrored on my lower back, trying to get a Viking Ship between them to border it or something in between xxx

thanks i designed the blue spirals myself, i have some that are ancient viking symbols, and my forearms were designs i found online then altered/added tae suit myself more

really cool. there's nothing like spirals and knots for a good tattoo cause such ancient symbols have to contain some old magic! thats the reason why I use them mostly too^^

well im fae scotland and the blue spirals are pictish symbols which were the ancient tribes of scotland over 2000 years ago. the blue spirals are symbols of war and life and warriors would paint their whole bodies with blue spirals using woad before battle.

yeah heard of that. haven't the picts been a celtic tribe too?
Here in Germany we'd got the Teutons. a bit younger culture, maybe from about 0 - 400 AD. it's not really known if they tattooed or bodypainted themselves too, but I'm sure they did

the celts were mostly in mainland europe with some small immigrations tae the UK but the picts had already been there and were an ancient race
