Esmeralda walked down the streets, she wondered how special the houses at this city looked like. They were surely different from Paris, but they were beautiful. The gypsy girl enjoyed the sun at this day.

((Just want you to know that I'm going to set this role play to a time before Lady met Tramp.
*It was Sunday morning, and Lady performed her daily routine of picking up the mail for Jim Dear and Darling. She happily pranced outside to retrieve the pile of paper until something caught her eye-ย
!!? She noticed a dark-skinned woman in strange clothing wandering the streets. Lady had not seen anyone like this woman before. She grew curious and approached the woman.*

Esmeralda enjoyed the shining sun and had a glance at the flowers next to her. She had never been in this city and it was surely different to Paris, she liked the style of the houses at this place.
While she was walking and pondering about a new dance which she had invented, a small brown dog approached and the gypsy girl raised her eyebrows in surprise.
"What a cute dog," she smiled and thought that the brown dog must be female since it was gracile and elegant with big eyes.

Esmeralda was delighted to see the dog. "How pretty you are..." she said warmly and then her gaze fell on the license - it even seemed to be on purpose to show the tag to her.
"Hello Lady," she added, "I'm glad to meet you."

*Lady smiled back as it was very nice to meet Esmeralda as well. Just then, on the corner of her eye, she spotted a large Rat running through her back yard. It was finding a way into the house.*

Esmeralda's eyes widened when she saw the large rat - she loved animals very much, but a rat didn't belong into one of those elegant looking houses for sure. And this rat looked feisty and belligerent.
The gypsy girl waited what Lady would do, without a key she wasn't able to do anything.

*Closely examining the rat she noticed it was about to enter through the dog door. !!? Without hesitation, Lady chases after the huge rat, zig-zagging throughout the yard. She managed to corner it between a fence and attempted to lunge at it, but the rat struck her first. The rat lost interest in trying to get into the house and scurried away into the distance, but not without leaving Lady with a nasty bite mark on her front paw.*
*Whimpers*........

Esmeralda's eyes widened when she saw that the rat had bitten the young dog. "Oh, I'm sorry," she said, took a few steps toward Lady and gave her a gentle stroke on the back.
The gypsy girl fetched a clean piece of cloth from her pocket and combined it with Lady's paw.

*Lady looked up to Esmeralda and smiled in relief. She then thought to herself that the rat may have fled, but it was sure to come back.* .....

"You are such a brave dog, really..." Esmeralda said and smiled at Lady. "I'm sure that Djali, my goat, would do the same for me and fight against ememies whenever it's necessary. Your family can be glad to have you!"
