# About me

Greetings. My name is Maria Ciccone, but most folks call me Wakka. As I don't particularly like talking about myself, I won't bore you with the details of my life. I will say that I am a professional bartender struggling to turn my lifelong dream of being a cartoonist into a reality. I have self-published several comics, and my strip "Fishy and Other Legendary Writers" is featured in Dayton Ohio's local paper "The Telephone." I still have a lot to learn, and would like to talk to anyone who is making a living as a professional cartoonist. I don't have my own website yet, but I am currently leaning HTML and CSS in order to build one. I am excited to be part of a community of artists.
