# About me

Hi, I'm Rachel, a current college sophomore majoring in Computer Science and Mathematics with interest in art and animation. I'm a very amateur artist, but I enjoy drawing and painting. I'm currently learning 3D animation so I may start to post some of my artwork from that soon. I'm also trying to learn about computer graphics to make digital games and applets.

I am considering doing painting commissions for extra cash, so if you are interested send me a private message and we can talk pricing.

I'm doing very well. School is awesome and I'm going to do some cool research with one of my Comp Sci professors plus I'm in Intro to 3D Animation and learning how to use Maya. It's very exciting. ^_^

My major is computer science and math. I'm trying to go after the animation on the side, at least. With NYU it's not easy to get into out-of-school classes (animation is at the Tisch school of the Arts, I'm in the College of Arts and Sciences--it took forever for them to let me into that class) and there isn't a specific minor in animation, so I'm just going to try and take as many classes as they will let me. I think there's a limit on how many out of school classes I can take and I'm rather use them on animation then general art stuff so I can learn a bunch of new things. There are also lab fees with out of school classes. >_<

I haven't really been drawing much though to be honest, except doodling in the margins of my notebooks haha, so not much new art on my end. I've mostly been messing around with computer graphics stuff. I would like to get back into drawing eventually though.

I hope you dont mind me talking about AMVs its just I never had a chance to thank you beacuse you really did help me with the tap my foot to the music and watching yous I think hey I can do that then I can so really thanks for zooming effect I working on one for Fanim-con I need to fix up the begging beacause it Sucks and Vegas well I have movie studio so I cant mask which sucks but hey. Vegas wanted to be a poophead and remove all my video overlays which made me really mad. I know how you fell with AMVs taking up your time I mean I use to think oh it takes 30 minutes I mean I would have never guessed it takes so long untill I tryed myself and evey amv im getting better.
