No problem! I lived in Portland for almost 11 years and it certainly has its beauty. One of my favorite things was the proximity to the ocean AND the waterfalls.

I agree. It's the thing that has kept me here, the closeness of so many varied types of scenery...from the Mountains, to the High Desert, the Ocean, the Gorge and it's beautiful trails and waterfalls. There is certainly much to see here according to any mood you might be in. I bet it's just as beautiful where you are now though.
