Can I ask you why you have my art posted in your gallery? Yes, you did give credit and warned not to favorite that image, and I'm grateful for that, but a gallery repost, regardless of credit, is still technically art theft. I would very much appreciate if you took it down.
I no longer have that work in my gallery anymore anyway.

Because if you look at the date when it was posted (2008), that was the only way to put art into 'clubs'. Groups did not exist and this club is old enough where it still has some of the existing deviations, like your art, which at the time you had to have given us permission to post. So before throwing around the words art theft, take a moment to breath.Β
The deviation is so old that I can't even find it in the gallery to remove it from the gallery. I'm trying to figure out how to get it removed, so be patient in the mean time.

However, did I not make it clear enough that I was grateful for the credit and politely asked you to remove the image? I don't need a moment to breathe -- I'm not flustered and angry. Just because I said the words "art theft," it does not automatically follow that it's a savage accusation. Maybe you need the moment.
You don't need to find it in your gallery to remove it; in my initial post, I directly linked to the image, and, since it's technically your submission, all you have to do is delete it via its page.
Though I would have had to agree to the resubmission at the time, that state of mind no longer applies. I would prefer to not be associated with that sort of work anymore and would be very appreciative if you took it down.

Alright, I've been struggling with this since receiving your initial comment and I cannot remove the deviation. I am unable to find it in the gallery, whic his the only way to remove a deviation from the group's gallery. Going to the page does nothing but show me what everyone else sees with it. When the groups were created, clubs that were rather grandfathered in didn't have the deviations they already had removed, just...absorbed? It's really hard to explain.
I can't even touch the title or change anything with it, let alone delete it. I'm trying to figure out what to do.

I'm not too intensely worried about the submission being found, however (I removed everything suggestive and explicit from my gallery long ago for reputation reasons), as it is so old and caught virtually no traffic to begin with, but that nagging paranoid feeling in the back of my mind still finds it a threat.
I have to admit I wanted it removed not predominantly for "theft" -- for lack of a better word, but for its association. I'm more concerned about being found as its artist than anything.
Don't worry yourself too hard over it though. If you really can't find a way to take it down, I guess it'll have to be. It's been so long I forgot I did it until I stumbled upon it, so it's unlikely it'll grab any serious attention anytime soon. If you do find a way though, I'd be very thankful. I am anyway for your attempts.

I'm contacting a mod and hopefully they can take it down, because honestly the page of the deviation itself gives me nothing. With a normal deviation, you can edit it whenever you like from it's page, but with anything group related you can only edit the folders it is in or not in from the gallery/folders page. I'm just confused as to why I can't find it. - @
Again, I'll contact a mod. Maybe reporting the deviation will get it taken down? I know I've lost stamps before with barely any reasoning at all, though I'm not sure how the report deviation would work for a group. I'll let you know what the mod says if/when they respond to me, so thanks for being patient.

Depends - may have been submitted to the wrong folder or quality may not have been too good. I go through submission requests rather quickly, it's hard to remember specific ones.

If "Submitted to wrong folder" is grounds for rejection, then maybe you should open the other folders for submission.

If it does not follow DeviantART rules, it is not allowed. Slash of bots hugging, holding hands, and kissing is alright, just be mindful since there are younger members.

XD Um, thanks for supporting my "DRUNK SCIENCE" doodle... I think I might have to redraw this one just cuz I know I can do better... and that a group has taken interest in it
