I'm taking the dive into the huge world of art, always loved drawing from an early age but drifted away from it in the past few years but I've recently started to become really focused and the love of art is taking over.
I recently started to use watercolours and inks so just playing round with them at the mo. Also have colour pencils, markers, sketching pencils and other bits and pieces which I'm just messing round with to see what works and what doesn't.
Love everything weird, wacky and colourful so you'll be seeing a lot of that on here ;)

I think you have very nice work. I think the "day of the dead beauty" is fantastic. Great use of the pencils. Have you ever used the colorless blending pencils or the paper blending stubs? If you have enough color buildup you can blend with both. Keep up the work

I have actuasky got a blender pencil but hardly ever use it, might try experimenting with it

I used ink, just plopped a bit on the page and blew it around

Exactly, when I've been work on it for while I know something looks wrong but I can't quite put my finger on it. If I leave the work and come back to it with fresh eyes I can normally spot what's wrong straight away
