# About me

Artwork : Drawing, pyrography (woodburning), painting.
My name is Jenn King. I am a young freelance artist working in western P.A. My drawings and watercolors have been published in the Expressions Journal of Milwaukee, W.I. and I spent two years at the Cleveland Institute of Art in Cleveland O.H. While at school I focused my skills with classical figure drawing classes and other fine arts foundations courses. After private art school proved too expensive, I returned home to Pennsylvania, where I began working as an animal care giver in shelters, boarding kennels, and dog daycare. Currently I am selling pyrography portraits of pets in my local area while trying to expand my local and internet presence as an artist. Art has always been the main driving force in my life, as well as my love of animals, particularly dogs, which has been shown in my most recent works. I specialize in organic forms such as animals, trees, and the human figure, most often in a stylized, whimsical way. Over the years I have developed an individual taste in color, texture, and dynamic linework. I am known best by my close friends and family for my fantasy art that I have developed over most of my life, illustrating concepts for a future graphic novel.
