Truth be told, I never actually finished XIII-2 Was I the only one who thought two sequels to the game really wasn't necessary?

I never finished it either, but I did see the endings. You aren't the only one, but some of the plot makes my favorite, Lightning Returns.

Well, SPOILERS!

In Lightning Returns, Serah is still Dead, Caius is alive and still a bad guy. Noel is a bad guy, Snow is a bad guy. Vanille, and Fang are no longer in the crystal stasis, and finally Hope is back to his younger form but is controlled.

I see where they were going with it, but I guess I can't get over all the fanservice-y costumes you can put Lightning in. Plus, I find her a bit overrated in general So a game where she's the central focus isn't good for me!

I agree, I actually don't like all those ... fan service outfits, And yeah she is overrated and stuff, but she still can be a cool character. I kind of agree, so I like 13-2 just a little more cause you can switch in-between Noel, and Serah.

Yeah, I liked the two of them, especially all of their back and forth banter~ Nothing against Snow, but I like Noel/Serah a lot more.
