I don't really understand deviant art. What does it take to get recognition? Every time you go to the home page, you see one good piece out of a hundred doodles that look as though they were created by children. Are these pieces actually done by kids? or is it thousands of people thinking they are the next Picasso? You submit something, and by the time you refresh, it's already off the first page. I appreciate people with talent. I appreciate people that really learn their trade and keep pushing the boundaries of what they can do with their skills. I am not against innovation, in fact i strive for it myself, but within my own bounds. With every piece i do, I try to do something I haven't done before, and by doing so, I expand my pallet even further. I just don't understand how on this site for releasing your work into the world, it's so hard to get anyone to actually see what you did, because you cannot add something without it being lost to the abyss within seconds.And another thing... STOP WATERMARKING YOUR WORK! By putting it on this site, it doesn't belong to you anymore. As soon as you put pen to paper (so to speak) you gave it to the world. So let go already, let the world have it... and it was never that good anyway.
