# About me
Erik's the name, writing's the game. Of course my talents aren't merely limited to writing. I draw, i act, I sing (in the car and the shower XD) and as well I EDIT! Which is to say I'm a YouTuber and like to mash together pointless videos using Vegas.I grew up in Colorado in constant view of the mountains which helped to inspire the stories I wrote as a kid. As well, thanks to my family's work I've lived in many other parts of this great nation and seen most other corners thanks to road trips. Growing up I would always film movies with my family and friends, eventually becoming the go-to man for all our "behind the scenes" work. Hence, my talents for syncing video to music and my basic sense for directing scenes. (Very basic of course, I hope to get better at it! XD) I've also grown to have a small interest in drawing... though, I admit... I am not very good as you will no doubt see from my gallery, LOL.
At any rate, I've joined deviantART because it's the biggest community of artists in the world, and also because I'm convinced that it's WAY cooler than Facebook. (no offense to facebook of course, I'm just saying.)

Hey Erik, I don't mean to be creepy at all. I've tried to send you a message via youtube but it wont let me. At least I don't think it let me... I stumbled upon this page when I googled your username to get to your videos. It's pretty awesome that you've been into video editing and all for a while. I too have been doing video work and film since I was young and not too mention seen quite a bit of the country as well growing up taking many road trips. My youtube channel has little to show for my video work except for the few school and college app videos I edited and put up for people to see, feel free to check those out if you'd like. I currently use final cut pro. The only thing that sucks is that I dont have a very good camera so everything I edit never looks as good as it could... Besides that, I've basically been my high school videographer while also doing fun projects here and there for my friends and family and I hope one day to be a film director. On another note, I am a huge fan of everything Avatar related. I can't get enough of your Korra worship videos on youtube. It's nice to know other people freakout about the show as much as I do. Love it. Seriously. Anyway, I thought I'd leave a comment here to get in contact and let you know I think it's awesome what you do, and to keep it up, especially with the Avatar videos. Your thoughts and ideas are welcomed and appreciated.
