So I was talking with some friends and we ended up talking about what we found attractive, and when I said that I liked "bigger" women, they both looked at me weird and went "Oh, yer one of THOSE people? Ew." They thought I was talking about all the expansion fetishes, but it was surprisingly annoying trying to explain to them that wasn't what I was talking about. So, I ended up pulling up a couple pictures of Yuki's human(ish) form, and went "I like women like THIS" Then they said, "So you're a furry?" and I literally facepalmed and said "NO, I'M TALKING ABOUT THIS BODY TYPE. I like women who have this body type"
Then they both had the most prolonged "Oooooooooooooh" I've ever heard from them
I realize now it's not a funny story, I just thought you'd appreciate to hear it

I've got a question as a fellow Deviant. Do you think it's worth the time and energy to work on a lengthy fan comic, when someone could be working on an original comic? Sure with the fan comic, it might get more attention, but one more or likely to benefit financially off an original comic.

I'd say try both, I tried an original idea once, but a lot of it didn't take off well.
Then I started Paper Goombah and it was more flexible and easier to start off with.
It really depends on the circumstance, I'd start with a fan idea then once you get
to a good enough point then start your original idea.
