I'm not too picky on scaling since I tend to just go for my favorite character and series, more than anything. And If I collect one of a certain line or series, I try to get them all, which helps explain the Nendoroids...Yes, Nendoroids are a dangerous thing to collect. I hear Figmas can be just as bad.

I only collect male characters (XDDDDD)

I guess I like Nendoroids more for their chibi appearance, since a Figma looks normal but is poseable. As much as I would love to collect guy character figures, they are rather limited in the makings and I'm rather particular about the character/series.

And yes, once you start on one, you'll find yourself with them all. ~_~

That worries me cuz I'm planning to buy Kinose Azusa figure from Starry Sky. I'm worried that if I get him, I might end up getting all of the 13 guys xD

I think the nendoroids are so collectable because all of them are about the same size though they are from different anime. You can make all of them play together perfectly, or even switch their clothes =3

I haven't been keeping up with figure releases lately since I need to save up money for a new place come summer, so I didn't realize ALTAiR was coming out with new figures. D:

Although right now, I think I'd rather try to hunt down the boys from Hakuouki. =x=;; I hate limited/exclusive figures...

I actually don't play with my Nendoroids a whole lot because some of them are actually too annoying to change around and pose. I believe a lot of them have never even been opened either...I think Figmas are probably easier to change around and pose due to their slimmer build. But Nendoroids are still cuter, IMO. ;;>>

Hakuouki is cool too, but I bet it's not scaled =/
I like the scaled ones because they goes so well with the collection
sadly now days the scales are so wrong. Like, the box says Scale:1/8, but when the box is opened, the figure size was like 1/10 or something. Really small

Yeah, nendoroids are better than figma. The paint too. Like, after awhile, the figma's paint kinds falls off or face but that doesnt happen to nendoroids. I have one nendoroid, bearly opened it too cuz I used to play with it and the arms kept falling off, the hip part is loose too.

I'm planning to get a 2nd job this summer. If I get it, I'll try to collect the whole set of starry sky boy xD

No, they were scaled. I rarely collect trading figures nowadays. I can't remember if they were 1/8th or 1/10th, but they were exclusives to a certain company/website, which explains why they're hard to track down.

Scaling depends on the company a lot too. I'm not super picky about details like that because I take what I can get. Expecially of guys or obscure series. :]

I would need at least 2-3 jobs to be able to pay rent, live, and buy figures. -_-;;

oh, i think ive seen that one long time ago on ebay. i think it was 1/10th thats why i didnt have that much interest on it.
I'd buy it if that was Kanda Yuu though xD he's my favorite. Id sell my other figures to get Kanda Yuu if he costs over $300 xD im serious. Love him too much xD haha

I dont pay rent cuz im living with my mom.that makes it soooo easier for me to save up for my collections
the only girl figure i want is Holo from spice and wolf. She became so expensive too Y_Y

I'm actually surprised I haven't seen many scaled figures from DGM, now that I think about it. Then again, I guess part of it is that DGM did get a lot of trading figure releases and such. I feel that there's prolly some correlation between trading figure amount and then getting a scaled figure. Except for the super popular ones; there's prolly a different number to figure that out.

There was one of the GSC Horo figures that I wanted too, but I didn't jump on it soon enough. I figure I didn't want it bad enough if I kept forgetting about it.
