Ah, very much shiny. I'm actually doing pretty well. It's strange to have 2 semesters straight where you aren't completely indifferent to the subject matter of any of your classes. I could even say I'm enjoying all of them (even my English composition class, don't laugh, i need it to get better at those stupid formatting issues). It's kinda nice to be "good" at school again. It's a lil different, maybe a bit easier (i never found any art or english class all that hard before, so it might be a bit tough to tell), but with the smaller class sizes that really just means I get to challenge myself (like doing illustrations for jane eyre as an english novels final). I'unno. The only thing that really bothers me day to day is the apathy towards life that a fair number of the students have here. I mean I saw it at madison ( especially on the lax team and my business classes), but there was a stronger filter in place for that sort of stuff, and you couldn't get by without a sort of baseline competence. Ah well. Met some cool people, especially in my creative writing class last semester, and have been getting a heck of a lot more done towards personal projects (except the novel for some reason). Still trying to figure out when I can sneak down to madison again... maybe right after finals, job permitting. Wanna catch you guys before half of you fly the coop on me.
