Your illustrations of the heavens are absolutely stunning. I love the stories you have for them and I'd kill for the patience and knowledge to create such detailed works.
I'm sorry to see a talented artist giving up a field in disgust (though I've done it a time or two in writing, myself), but appreciate the fact you've left the art up for us to enjoy and be inspired by.

The space art genre lost a good one. You have the most amazing artwork I have ever seen, especially Escape. You, DKF, and alyn are the only three artists that I know that can bring life to a genre that is stocked full of low-quality, five minute, "add the noise filter and a lens flare" with a blue circle and you have a space scene- images. I hope that in some way, you will regain your heart for this genre and keep working at it, because you are a fantastic space-artist.
Your words are very heartfelt, and I am glad to see that you at-least put together a composite gallery for us all to look at before you left, so thanks man, thanks for being an awesome and talented artist.

Well sometimes the artist just naturally moves past a phase. This was mine. While I'm still sitting on quite a few illustrative ideals in this genre I can't see them coming to fruition any time soon. Thank you for the compliment. /bow

that is certainly true but i feel that u have so much talent and i was really hoping u wouldnt lose heart just because many people lkike u said misuse this wonderful genre of art. i hope u will still do what u have a passion for. well i understand ur decision but i really hope to still see a space image from u or two. maybe not on dA, hell id be more than happy with a small 200 pixel thumb in an email or msn. but i really feel that space art is losing alot if u leave the scene indefinately.
