I'm wondering if you have any kind of insights on how to make an astronaut kind of helmet in sketchup?

oh boom! Yeah um... well you prob need to think about the style. If its organic, then I'd use Artisan or Subd, but if its like retro style / skewed time line-ish boxy styles, then normal plug-ins would be of assistance. I'd obviously just model it like a car and do half and mirror the other half. Besides that, i'd work with FollowMe to produce some cool pipework to go from side to side, perhaps some cool filter type ends... the sky is the limit man!

since i reinstalled, i lost my joint push/pull, my subD, and a few other cool ones.

yeah man there are heaps, I use Joint Push Pull, RoundCorners, ah Weld... what else.... most of the stuff that saves time.. there are a million out there man, ah... there are a couple more I use, create vertices between points, a skinning one..

do you remember making me the truck and I couldn't render the scene because of computer problems? well i got a new PC. it would be super cool to work on something that can render in vue with you.

Hey aconnoll do you have any idea where i can find any tutorials in vehicle modeling in sketchup ? all i can fine are tuto's for houses and furniture on youtube. i only had sketchup for a few days now.
