You shouldn't have given in to these people. They have absolutely no right to dictate what you post in your own gallery. It's your artspace, and the only people who can decide what goes in your gallery are you - and the admin.
Despite what the Justice Brigade seems to think, they do not own Deviant Art, and therefore have no right to dictate terms to you or anybody else.

On dA you are only allowed to post things YOU made. Not post things others made. That's called art theft, and that's why it needs/needed to be taken down. It infringed other's people's copyright.

No they don't. It is the person who drew, colored, and created the art's right to get credit, not for somone to come along and post it as their own. It is wrong, inconsideret, and down right pathetic for somone to take credit for an artists work.
Artspace? The sight is called deviantart, it's for ARTISTS to put up their own work, not for somone to post pictures they like up.
