I was born very premature weighing only 1 pound, because I had extreme bleeding in my brain the doctors told my mother that I would have sever mental delays, and probably never even be aware of my surroundings. I was considered mentally retarded, but as the years went by I began to "catch up". By the time I started 6th grade I was almost at grade level. By the end of that year I was out of special education. I began drawing at a very early age. At 6 I was barley able to speak but I could draw.
