They now look up with a glassy smile, as if having spotted each other for the first time, (and are particularly delighted to have done so) shouting out 'Haaaaaallllloooo!' as if to say 'Good grief!! You!! Here!! Of all people! Will I never. Coo. Stap me vitals, etc.'

Lets see...music, I'm pretty open to anything.
Right now randomly looking through my cd case there is: Kasabian, Elbow, Scissor Sisters, Louis XIV, Fischerspooner, James Blunt, Frou Frou, Lemon Jelly, Massive Attack, Chemical Brothers, Bright Eyes, Bonobo, Postal Service, Portishead, Air.
Goes on and on. I don't really stick to a specific genre.
My taste probably can be quite crappy one day then "refined" the next.
And I'm sure you know far more about music than I do.
But anyway, love to hear what you like or would reccomend.

I definately approve of the Chemical Brothers, I own everything they have released (excluding 2 or 3 things, the hard to get stuff).
It's a collection and obsession, it is my mania.
If you like Frou Frou you should definately check out Imogen Heap - Speak for Yourself (she's half of Frou Frou).
I also recommend my favourite album of 2005 so far, Sufjan Steven's - Come on Feel The Illinoise! It's up there in my top favs of all time now aswell.
It's only contender is probably Boards of Canada's upcoming or some other magical surprise.

I really don't have that much Chemical Brothers. :/ I know, you can kill me later. I'll have to get some more. I just re-downloaded soulseek so I'll have to get back on track. I actually downloaded Surfjan Stevens whole Illinois album last night while I was at class. Just burnt it to get it off my hard drive. I've only sampled a few. But it sounds pretty good. Got a real nice mixture of sound and tempo it seems. I'll listen to it more on the way to and from class tonight and whenever I can.
I just dowloaded Imogen Heap- Hide and Seek and I love this song actually. Sounds a bit better (judging from one song) than Frou Frou in my opinion. I'll have to check more later. And thanx for reminding me on the Boards of Canada, I forgot to get some of theirs last time.
So yeh, Thanks for the recommendations, I needed a refreshment.
And glad you like the webcam, the full version is going through some retouching, it'll be out in a bit in an online mag and I'll submit here.
