# About me

I am an artist and poet and I am in love with the process of creativity. When I am working on my art, I look for the little details sometimes barely visible, the fine nuances, repeating patterns, and discreet details. When Once found I try to translate them either through painting, drawing, sculpture, digital or fractals. My goal in doing this is to help myself and my viewers a new perspective on an otherwise over looked component, thereby removing the possiblity that it will ever escape notice again. I also take a step back and allow the art to find its own way or suggest its own path. Often the image that I have in my mind when I start to create is so far removed from the image that I end up with. But I am always the happier for it.

I attended, Stout State University in Wisconsin and then went on to get a marketing communications degree at NWTC Green Bay. After working in the advertising world for a a few years, I struck out on my own to pursue my passion and awake to art everyday. I have never looked back.

I've heard it said that life is about the journey and if this is true then art has become the vehicle of my choice.
