Oh...you really got me. This is a hard question for me, cause I don't know how to tell you...
But I can recommend you to read the manga of "The War Within" and "Generation 1", and you will find these two really interesting.
Also, the TV series of Transformers G1 is also good, especially the first and second seasons. Sunny and Sides do not show that much time in G1 cartoon, but I'm sure you can find something really great on them.
