*hugs* Hehe! I'm over halfway through it now, and it is really good. Although it annoys me how the author goes through so many different points of view...you know? Like you have Gil's and then Archeth's and then Egar's, and so when I just want to continue with Gil's part (which I usually do, lol!!), I have to go through the others and then I forget what happened last. XD
I just read the one steamy scene between Ringil and the dwenda. >>' Wooooooooooooooo. I never thought a man could write such a steamy gay sex scene! O___O

So are his books also fantasy? :3 I've read lots of fantasy books with juicy scenes like that, but they were all written by women, so me reading one by a man...surprised me. Haha. XD Maybe he IS bi! I mean, come on! How could he write that without feeling uncomfortable? Lol. Or maybe he ENJOYED writing it too much. ;3 Teehee.

yup yup, sometimes sci-fi, but mostly fantasy, and he's just GREAT. xD~ nah, I really love his writing style and his worlds and everything...but even then, sometimes I wish some chapters (with not so interesting characters) would go by faster (which is why I sometimes don't read them as concentrated as the other ones xD).

yeah, I mean, there is no warning, no slight indications, NOTHING AT ALL that could make you think it has such contents. it was just like in the chapter with the northern guy who was thinking about his "faggot" friend. and I was like: nah, he's just saying that but not meaning it. till I reached the part where hell YES, HE MEANT IT! xDDD~
poor those guys 
...and btw. I love the cover. I don't know if it's the same as yours. I have the paperback version and it's fair blue with a metallic shining (awesome looking) sword in the middle (again, how would you suspect any harm from THAT? it looks like an awesome epic fantasy book (whitout more specific BL content) xD)
