Actually, everyone doesn't know what a gender-bender is. And you might not know this, but assuming that someone is a gender-bender can be VERY insulting, if not kinda ignorant. You probably didn't mean it like that, but it's something you should know.

Feeling vulnerable and feeling like a question is too personal are extremely different things. Also, calling someone a gender-bender without their knowledge or consent is a pretty bad thing to do-- every person has their own identity and way of expressing it. You might want to refrain from using the term 'gender-bender' in the future unless someone has given you explicit permission to use it in reference to them. It's a bit ignorant and assuming otherwise.

First off, I did not intend to say like it's ignorant and assuming otherwise. And didn't you recall that guy asked you if you are a gender-bender which you responded as ''Is that even a real word''?  It means a person who dresses and behaves in a way characteristic of the opposite sex. Perhaps look at the dictionary if you never heard of it before and  Yes, it might come pretty offensive coming throughout those people as well as insult. And i might think he was wondering if you were a female since you dress like one. Just guessing from what he was talking about..

Yes, that is how -I- responded, which doesn't mean I wasn't offended, or that it wouldn't offend other people. Also, according to recent dictionaries online (although the word hasn't been taken in officially yet), the term means 'crossdresser'. Even if I wasn't offended, I was just letting him know that it COULD easily be offensive. Would you go up to a stranger in the street and ask if they were a crossdresser? I would hope not. I know this is just a misunderstanding, but you are also acknowledging that it could come off as pretty offensive, whether it was meant that way or not, I was letting him know that it's something he might wish to avoid saying in the future.

Oh fff, I don't even smoke everyday! I usually only smoke if I'm doing pictures that need it or if I'm with friends at a convention outside. I don't even go through 1 pack a month. XD
