I chose to focus on the human life cycle, emphasizing the gamut of unique characteristics of each stage. I am profoundly intrigued by the power and emotions that people can so compellingly convey, and so I sought to explore different facets of their life stages and capture the nuances of people's emotional evolution during their life spans.

Just as the life cycle starts with birth, Image 1 portrays a baby, serene and peaceful. Image 2, with a young girl gazing up innocently while clutching a balloon, symbolizes hope, naivete, and vulnerability. However, a painting of my brother and me in Image 3 shows that childhood can also be a time of blissful fun. Next is the crucial stage of imagination and curiosity about the world around us, as depicted in the next two images. Moreover, one must discover her self-identity and individual niche, and my self-portrait in Image 6 indicates that art is a vital part of my own identity. Another important life stage is the unveiling of sexuality, including an empowering feeling of youthful strength, embodied in Images 7 & 8. Indubitably, there's also the romance stage, and Image 9 is a heartwarming depiction of a girl sleeping in the embrace of her lover on a train. Not to disregard the hardships of love, though, Image 10 shows a worried mother devoted to protecting her beloved child from the harsh reality of the world. In Image 11, a pair of aged hands plays with an old stuffed bear, modeled after one from my childhood, evoking nostalgia. My concentration ends with a sweet commemoration of eternal love even in old age, and the pictures on the wall detail significant events throughout their life, providing closure for my exploration.
