I'm sure you get bugged about the hand a lot, but i do have two questions. Where did you get the springs from? And did you use smaller ones on the tips so that they would curl befor the joints closer to the hand?

i got them from a local hardware store, and they're all the same size. i think they curl at relatively the same time like a normal hand...unless you try really hard.
