Thank you, your art is lovely. I think my communism may be a bit more libertarian leaning than yours (?) but I like what I see in your work

Thanks so much! I actually haven't found a tendency yet, but I'm definitely no totalitarian. I enjoy analyzing the world through the enormously focused lens of marxism, but am extremely wary of the stalinites, maoists, leninists and many trotskyists. The power-fetish really creeps me out.

Well hey, sounds like you're a critical thinker so I wouldn't worry. I would advise against finding a tendency if that means following somebody's established theoretical doctrine. I'm more in favor of picking and choosing from what seems to have the best results for human freedom and equality, while recognizing that that can vary geographically, culturally, and historically. Marx is such a great starting point though. Have you read Dunayevskaya or the Marxist Humanists? I had a professor in college who turned me on to them. I also love Kropotkin's work, Zapatismo, and a lot of other theorists and schools of thought... it's a great big world of liberatory ideas, we just gotta start organizing the real thing

I haven't yet read Dunayevskaya, but I have immensely enjoyed what handful of articles and essays I've read of Kropotkin, and even fewer of Bakunyin.
I've only recently (within the last year or so) discovered the potency of Marxist/Far-Leftist thought and am thumbing through introductory texts on the subject. Marx represents, to me, the restless conscience of mankind and I look forward to delving ever deeper and getting a good whiff of that indignation that tilts at inequality and thunders at exploitation, if you'll excuse some tired drift on my part.

Well I wish you all the best of luck, I'm always excited to trade book recommendations (though I also always have a too-high stack I've yet to read)!

Hope you enjoy the day when someone relieves you of the rights you claim not to have.

which rights are those? I own no property other than what I use on a daily basis. If the surplus property of the wealthy was accessible to all, I would be in a far, far better position than I currently am.
