# About me

I considered myself a visual artist once, before my body of work was lost, with all of my best, worst, and most embarassing revealing drawings. I was crushed.

I write all the time, mostly just in my journal. I look back and realize I have accumulated a modest body of poetry and fiction no one has ever read.

I have always been too self-critical to share. Hard economic realities have been a distraction, wearing me down, eating away at my individuality. It doesn't help that I have a general distaste for narcissism.

But if I'm not going to be in love with myself and my creative spirit, how can I expect anyone else to care? I should stop bitching and settle in for a quiet life in Mundania.

Whoops, looks like instead I'm going to join Deviant Art and keep pissing in the wind.
