Dear artist, Hi. My name is Nancy Suchman and I am an Associate Professor at Yale School of Medicine and am about to publish a book on mothering and addiction with Oxford University Press. My co-authors and I are looking for appropriate artwork for the cover. Mother and Child painting is on our shortlist of artwork to consider. I am writing to ask if you might be willing to allow us to use this artwork for the book cover. The book title is "Parenting and Substance Abuse: Developmental Approaches to Intervention" and it includes 24 chapters from international experts doing clinical work and research on the very important topic of parenting and addiction. We have a small budget to cover the cost of the art (my co-editors and I will be paying out of pocket since OUP cannot provide funds). We are hoping to make a final decision and have an agreement within the next two weeks. Okay. Just saw the movie. That is kick ass! I can't belive the animation. Loved the part were the lion trows off the deer, briliant. If I was still doing my radio show in Victoria, I would tell tons of people to see it.
For those that are reading this and havent seen "Paid Dearly", here's the deal. Click this [link] and watch the film. The film starts out as a ritual of male bonding and soon turns to an action movie where-by the protagonists have agrivated the antagonists, so its payback time. The real hero of the film is Simba, not only does he get paid but the foils the mullet.
