She asked for help, said that she wasn't asking sharity, that she would work for money - so numerous people commissionned her. She published a few finished commissions and then disappeared. A lot of us have never seen the promised work. I paid 47€ and got nothing. The worst is that she never tried to keep in touch, never gave any news on her situation, it's really like she stole our money. è_é

There's nothing to be done, and we certainly don't want her account deleted, in case she comes back. It's the only link we have with her, and with each other. She disappeared and we can only hope she comes back one day with our money or our commissions... though I'd ask for both, because of her attitude. è_é

Hello all. To anyone waiting on commissions/books from Belialchan, I found an interesting piece of information on an Artist Beware post about her. [link] One of her friends responded to the thread, saying that the last contact they had with Belial was January 2011. So she obviously had access to internet at the time (albeit limited). I know there were people saying they tried numerous times to contact her way before that date, so I'm kind of inclined to believe that this was either a 100% scam, or it didn't start out as one, but eventually turned into one when Belial became overwhelmed.

I don't generally use LJ, so thanks for that link. I commissioned a LOT from her, so I'm a little irritated that I won't be getting anything for my money. I mean, it was also to help, but some sort of response would be really nice. Even just to say we should expect a long delay. :\

Thanks for the link. I'm still hoping she'll be back at some point since I really love her art and, although I don't care about the money I gave her, it's still bad if she disappeared like this, leaving so many people who already paid without their commission nor any news.
