# About me
I was born in Poland, raised in Canada, and recently completed a PhD in History at the University of Cambridge. So I guess I'm very cosmopolitan.I've been creating digital art for over a decade, and drawing for over two. I like to think I'm pretty good at the former and (at best) reasonably acceptable at the latter. I would dabble in writing as well, had I the time and energy. I'm mostly a comic book fan artist; I've done some originals, but this is mostly a hobby and a way to pay tribute to the series and characters I love. I started as a photomanipulator and that's still my strength, but I have also since done some 3D, some pencilling, some digital inking and colouring... the lot. I sketch occasionally but rarely find it good enough to be worth posting. Most of what I have posted to dA is mixed media, primarily photomanipulated 3D renders with many digitally painted elements. If you enjoy them, please let me know. Like many artists, I am tremendously insecure at heart and thus crave faves and comments. ;)

Responding of this year august 25, 2012 LETTER that you wrote in your journal about writing to DC comics about starting a new 52 era after FLASHPOINT. I ageed with you whole hearted about what they did with it. I HATE IT! I STOP BUYING THEIR BOOKS PERIOD. THEY DESTROYED EVERYTHING WITH THIS NEW 52 CRAMP!

Thanks! I wash mildly horrified to see that I hadn't joined before -- I guess because your group requested my previous Cass pic without me having to spam it.
Cass is an awesome, awesome characters. Steph is my favourite character, but Cass is basically 1A. I could probably rhapsodize as much about her as I do in the letter about Steph (Maybe next mailing campaign?) She was one of the main things that got me back into mainstream comics back in the late nineties and I loved every moment of her series. It really sucks how badly she got treated after One Year Later and ever since.

Oh we accept and look for submissions from non-members as well, but it's great to have you with us. Particularly with that attitude towards her. We are also big fans of Steph here as well, and if both of them could come back to the DCU, it would be splendid. As long as Cass isn't the One Year Later version. Egh!

You're welcome! They're very good. I like your sort of elongated style; very unique and stylized and cool. You're one of those pencillers who makes me jealous (it's not really my forte), which I hope you will take as a compliment.
Thanks for the kind words on the letter too. I'm gratified that people seem to agree with it. It makes the whole exercise feel worthwhile, even if DC themselves end up ignoring it.

Heh, I'm basically the opposite... I've done a lot of digital art (photomanipulation, 3D, digital inking/colouring, mixed media, you name it) and am pretty confident in my skills, but I've never been satisfied with my pencils. The only drawing I've actually posted here required a lot of post-production before I was reasonably happy with it.
