I also have a suggestion / perspective I would like to share with you. Of course, it is fully your valid right to accept or dismiss this information, as you see fit.
Speaking only for myself personally -- I do not use the "watermark feature" for two extremely important reasons:
01) It defaces the artwork. Many people are under the mistaken impression that using the water mark somehow "prevents art thief". Not at all true. Someone skilled enough with an editor who wants it bad enough, can zoom into the pixel level and remove the watermark completely, as if it was never there. So, watermarking is useless.
02) If you look at the new deviantART logo, it is a Nazi Swaztica with the tips removed. NO JOKE!! I even made a video illustrating this, and if you wish to see it just let me know. In my opinion, it is pretty obvious that it is a Nazi Swaztica with the tips trimmed off, I noticed this immediately. So, if someone wants to deface their art with a symbol of racism and genocide, well -- I respect their right to do so if this is what they really wish. For myself personally, I would never allow such a thing to deface my art. If I make art with a Nazi Swaztica in it, it is to poke fun of Nazis, AGAINST racism and such.
Instead of using a water mark, I would suggest creating a logo of your own for your art, which defines your brand of art as being created by you -- and put it up in the corner of the picture. The more your art becomes more popular, people will remember that your face and your logo, go together. This will allow the art community as a whole to identify art theft when it happens, and to notify you of who the thief is. Art theft can not be prevented, but as previously stated -- you can make sure that the thief at least does not get away with it.

As for the Swaztica thing, make up your own mind about my video on it:

I think your art is awesome and you have a wonderful mind and great humor! (as far as I can tell, its not like I "know you" lol)
So with that said -- check out my gallery and if you don't run away screaming in terror, maybe you might even let me interview you on a live stream to promote your art. But if you find me to be too #triggering I won't hold it against you. I get that a lot so, its all good.

Is there a chance you can remove the ugly dA water mark and replace it with something less distracting? I can't look at pics that have these huge water marks vomited all over them. Especially if the pics are decent.
