Yeah, I saw that. I did this design a couple years back and hadn't seen it before. About a week later I saw it popping up all over the place (including about 2 a day on Deviant) and started collecting them in a folder just to see how many I'd end up with. It's a lot. I've been tattooing for almost 8 years if you count my 2 year apprenticeship but have only been tattooing the right way for about a year. I was apparently taught a lot of bad things by a lot of people that thought they knew what they were doing so I've been spending a lot of time watching videos and asking questions from some big names via social media.

I need to know some big names..I've learned from myself 95%..I've been drawing my whole life though.. I'm just living in a hole. Trying to get noticed. Know I need to take my earlier stuff down. I've been tattooing for 5 yrs..and accumulate around 7 months of apprenticeship. I feel under educated about my technique but I always try to improve and broaden my artist talents..I'm hoping to open my own shop by next year.

technique is hard to learn on your own without some sort of foundation and getting anyone to take you serious when you're self taught is difficult. I know of a few shops across the country that will take a mediocre artist that completed an apprenticeship over a fantastic artist that didn't every time

I had never seen it until I did one on a girl. A week later I noticed them popping up any time I Googled anything tattoo related.

Thats why i try to encourage folks to come up with an original design.. you know points for originality and such.
