thx for the feedback! i wasn't sure about the colour scheme (well i was, but my gf wasn't and almost put me off it), but you put my mind to rest.

hopefully i will get the site done, chucking it together in dreamweaver now (which i've never used before, always coded from scratch, so it's moving along a bit more slowly).
