So I bought a white african violet because I never knew they came in white (apparently they come in yellow and cream too) and I named it Liv after the character from izombie in an attempt to keep myself from making a new character
but now I am trying real hard to keep it that way rather than make another violet character that is an orphaned child that Violet finds and because her and her brother were orphans growing up she takes the child in so that it doesn't have to suffer the same harsh growing up that she did. a child that's really shy and closed off, easily frightened and tends to cling to Violet at first but does eventually start opening up little by little. Gets along with George best with how Asriel-like Flowey's son is and is at first terrified by how loud Papyrus is but eventually eventually warms up to him with his raw determination to make a new friend. as the child grows up while staying kinda shy and reserved, tends to keep Arial from getting herself killed and is taught gardening by "Uncle Cagney." while Arial likes it a bit, she has no real passion for gardening like Cagney does, none of his children do. but this little kid who through adoption becomes Cagney's niece, does so he finally has someone to teach it to who really likes it.
But I am trying really hard not to do that and keep my white violet named after Liv Moore from iZombie

Is that you bought another flower and you named it after Liv from Izombie just to give it a name not for making it into a character and I'm guessing you think you already have too much flower ocs (Or something else idk) and you don't want to make a character out of this flower like you did with Cory? but at the same time you really like the idea of what you thought but on the other hand you don't wanna make a new oc?

the last time I debated turning one of my actual plants into an oc (Cory) I told Stilbie first but like this time for no real reason it was just a random friend picking to tell a thing to really I mean both of you are my friends and it would be weird to only ever go to one when indecisive about something

It would feel weird rping as someone elses oc. I mean I guess in a way that's kind of a silly thought because I'm ok with writing them in fics or drawing them in pics and canon characters are SOMEONES oc just made popular but still.

yeah I tend to avoid those topics. I think those things generally should be avoided unless it's an important element to a plot, like a story about someone coping and trying to move on from such an event. and even then they really need to bring their a-game because those are very sensitive topics and could end up hurting someone if written poorly.Β but when people use things like that just for shock and the story would be completely the same without those, that's pretty gross
But I think I'm gunna go ahead with the idea for the adopted child for Cory and Violet. I know you said first that you wanted to make one and I said you could, and then this idea just started to happen.

Yeah, I really only pay attention to it if it happened to someone or it's happening to someone, especially my friends.
Some of my friends have abusive parents and they look to me for comfort if there really good friends with me and if something happened with there parents and if they tell me what happened and It's really bad, I'll get really pissed off and mad.
Cause I really don't play with that shit and it gets me angry to know there areΒ people like that in this world, so I will do anything in my power to make them feel better. And one of my best friends is a girl but she gets called a boy for no reason when she entirely looks like a girl and she's actually very pretty and she told me one day she was walking with her guy friend in the mall and some fucking asshole guy and two girls called her a boy and she had to literally walk up to them and tell them she's a girl and what made her upset..is that she really wanted to look girly that day, like make-up, her hair done, feminine clothes and when she told me what happened I got so angry and upset, I'll spend hours caring and comfort anyone going through shit like that even if we're not the greatest of friends, if I can make a person happy and feel like they belong then that makes me happy.
I'll spend my life caring for people if I have too.
even if they're not there for me when I need someone, even if I'm upset as well I'll put up a mask just to help them.

Ah real life cases. yeah those are completely inexcusable. I've dealt with bullying myself and I've had friend/family who've lived through the others.
I was once confused for a boy when I was around i think 10ish, it was annoying. I hope your best friend stops being called a boy. Bullies always seem to pick that one sensitive thing to pick on.
that means you are a good, kind person. the world needs more of those, a little hope for humanity not being fully lost. but you should also care about yourself though. whenever you need someone to talk to or vent to, I might not always know what to say but I will always listen when a friend needs an ear

Yeah, Me too she really is a beautiful girl too so I don't understand why she get's called a boy and tbh a lot of people tell me that, but I really don't care about my self tbh, If I die oh well I die. I don't despise or fear death, I just question it mostly and I've accepted the fact I'll die one day whether it's sooner or later and If I'm feeling upset and depressed, Than I usually just cry it out till I fall asleep, listen to music till I fall asleep, or just draw it out, I don't exactly like bothering people with my problems since I don't want to make them worry or sad with my problems and such, I want my friends to be happy.
