Hey, catbib, I just found your page but realized somehow I've seen your work around. I like a lot your style, it's somewhat close to that of two of my absolute favorite artists, Min Yum and Ruan Jia (oh, gosh, that one!). I strive to achieve that kind of style myself, but TBH colors are such a complex thing and I don't even know where to start. Could you give some tips on how to at least get started? Do you work grayscale and then put the color on top, or directly on colors (sort of a la prima)? The concept still escapes me.
