And hmm kinda? I'm not a crazy, dedicated mystery genre fan (like I haven't read most classic mysteries or seen most classic mystery movies/shows) but I like a good mystery story here and there.

Well, I've read The Hound of the Baskervilles, The Speckled Band and The Valley of Fear. It's been a while since I've read a whole book. The last book I read was "Psycho." I mainly read fan fiction. My definition of a good fanfic is if you don't need the characters your using to make a great story. If your story is good whether you use Batman characters, Seinfeld characters, or Mario characters, it's a good fanfic.
For example, there's two stories here on DeviantArt that are awesome. They're called, "Pirates vs Privates" and "The Scarlet." Have you heard of them?

Ooh, nice- yeah I definitely remember The Speckled Band. It's amazing to see how much work and thought were put into those books.
And that's an interesting philosophy! I used to read fanfictions but since I'm not really obsessing over anything anymore I haven't touched one in a long time. XD

Honestly, I'm a hopeless romantic so I don't so much focus on fandoms, just romantic stories. But I do have three fandoms I like more than others. I like Zootopia, Kung Fu Panda, and Harry Potter.
I ship Nick and Judy hard.
