I like the concept of them having non-changeling settlements, and their weapons; I think they are inspired by the weapons protoss use in Starcraft?

Well, my idea of how they got the ability to become living shadows is that my hive started out as exiles from another changeling hive. They were discovered by a clone of my ponysona Gargon in disguise of a old Zebra who owns an emerald mine in the Zebra nation(s). He invited the changelings into his mine and reveled himself as well as removing the changelings' disguises. He told them that he can teach them a different way of getting love by using their shadows to hide themselves from the Zebras. After many months of doing this over and over again their bodies became different until the Changelings became what they look like in the drawings of my Changelings. They also asked Gargon's clone to be their leader so he disguised himself as King Zulu.

Ugh, sorry for the long time it took me to reply, I am very busy as of late and my internet connection here isn't the best...

Anyway, for starters, Project Horizons is my favorite thing ever, so I usually favorite stuff related to it As for your Seahorse, well, not many people had tried to portray that peculiar scene in any manner, and I think it shows rather well what some of those bucks were thinking (specifically the one we see later in PH, I think his name was Nails?). Like, really, reading the first part of it made me again feel the urge to murder those fictional characters, and the last part, well, trying to imagine what a relatively normal/sane person must have felt like then, and I think you presented it quite well.

Btw, since I have you here and since you seem to enjoy FoE's universe, may I interest you in my FoE story "Infinite Potential" (www.fimfiction.net/story/23752… )? It supposedly very interesting, according to my readers

That's ok. 

It was the attempt that I was going with, which is particularly why it was so difficult for me to write material for it until about 3 years after I read Project Horizons. I was going into the mentality of revenge-addled opponents who had a opportunity to have their way with their perceived enemy in anyway they saw fit, and attempting to gain the satisfaction after getting 'burned' so to speak from their last encounter with Blackjack. Obviously, as I write in the poem, nothing can satisfy, because there isn't any amount of rape or torture they could do that would satisfy them other than forgiveness, and to see Blackjack forgive their immediate action after being apprehended made their revenge even more pointless a venture. It was just a extremely grisly scene, considering the state that Blackjack was at the time of said event, that it made me extremely uncomfortable to write it. I wasn't even sure if I ever could, but having been inspired to write more Fallout related stuff since the reveal of Fallout 76, I wanted to try to dust off that skeleton hanging in my closet. Thanks for the compliments on the poem though!

As for the side story, I'm a busy person too, and don't really have a lot of time to get wrapped up in it. I only just recently got back into the FOE related stuff, and I have a ambitious project that I have in the works that has taken me hours upon hours to get refined. I'm just glad you got the central idea of the poem, rather than those who either just like it because I made it on principle, or people who just writhe in disgust immediately.

I mean, I've seen drawings afterwards of Glory holding Blackjack. The scene was very traumatic. It didn't hit me until afterwards, when P-21 was holding her in the cabin on the ship.

Nah... well not really You see, Borsuq is a nickname somebody thought for me during Highschool (it means "badger" in english), and I love cats. So whenever for some reason I can't use just "Borsuq" as a user name, I add "Catx" in the beginning
