Hi hi!!! I am using Photoshop 4.0! I am trying different methods for colouring so far. The past couple drawings I have been doing a layer for the hardlines on one layer, then on the layer below I use colour and then erase around the edges. I think there's gotta be a better way about it, but it shall take further study!!!

I only have Coral Painter, so nothing fancy, but yeah, figuring out layers and coloring is hard!
