# About me
Hi all. I am a disabled female who, except for doctor and hospital visits, is confined to my home. I love art, photography and animals. I have 7 cats and a husband (notice who I put first). My interest in art and photography grew stronger when I joined Flickr. I decided it was time to broaden my horizons and join deviantart. I am not a photographer nor an artist of any sort but I love both.Because of several disabilities my primary way fo keeping in touch with the world and my interests is my computer. With my computer I can see what I physically can't get out in the world and see. It's my way of keeping in touch and meeting new people.

Hi! I am also disabled, although not confined to the house, and use my computer to maintain an online life, especially here on DA where I meet lots of great people, learn all kinds of new things, and share my art. I was amazed at how quickly I met so many wonderful folks after I joined DA.
I noticed you said in your interests that you like to make beaded jewelry. Have you thought about getting photos of some of your pieces and posting them here? I'd love to see your work, and I'm sure other people on DA would also. There are a lot of crafters here, including me. (I make polymer clay beads as well as my fractals.)
