I'm a student at university in CanadaArt is a hobbie and will always stay that way
I have been paid for my art before but usually I draw for the hell of it
I'm female with no current boyfriend, not that I'm disinterested or anything

I will finish university and enter law school

Well it depends on what province she lives in. In Quebec there is Otakuthon, in Ontario there are a few smaller ones in the year such as Anime North, Automic lolipop, Con Brovo, Fan Expo and I'm sure there are more. if you you let me know what province she's in I think I could help further.

Then I must suggest otakuthon, I think its the biggest convention of its kind in the province and its one of the nicer conventions in Canada. It is in August and its over one of the weekends

basically facebook became too much of a distraction (and kinda addiction) . . . constantly checking for notifications, checking out hours worth of youtube videos i was sent, etc.
and facebook's privacy policy and terms and conditions - anything you upload (including pictures), they own and can do whatever they want with it.
plus i rarely talked to anyone on facebook anyway
