Sorry for the late reply!
I LOVED it! It was everything I wanted and more. The costumes were stunning, the cinematography was awesome, the casting was perfect as were the songs, both old and new, and the whole thing was a perfect adaptation with just the right changes.
I especially loved Luke Evans as Gaston, "How does a moment last forever", and LeFou!

(FRIENDLY SMILE/BIG, TIGHT WARM HUG A LA OLAF)!!! Aw, that's A-Okay, Maddy; I've just *REALLY missed you*, is all.

SO *did ~I~* on *ALL* of the above!!! I liked LeFou in this adaptation, too; I practically fan-girl squealed in my head when I heard/saw him (COUGH/BLUSH)!! And while I *unadulteratedly* *LOATHE* Luke Evans as Gaston *CANON-wise*, Luke Evans *the ACTOR* was and is SO funny, witty, and genuinely nice! (Fun fact: you probably know how Gaston x LeFou stories are now going around *like CRAZY* in fanfiction since the movie came out, right?? ...Well, get *a LOAD* of THIS- in *REAL life*/*OFF-screen*, the Welsh actor is capital *g-a-y*. I'm NOT *kidding*, Maddy-!!)

I LOVED- no, *HEARTED* the new songs "How Does a Moment Last Forever?", "Days in the Sun", and the Phantom/Hunchback/Severus Snape-esque "Evermore"; and of course, my very favorite canon song from Disney's 'Beauty and the Beast', "Something There"!!! I also rather liked the new take on both "Be Our Guest" and "Gaston", the latter of which I have never really liked/cared for before (I *know*; *WEIRD*, right, given my perchant for Villain songs?!? But it's the truth) until now.

And despite WHAT/*how much* my sister grumbles, I think that Emma Watson did a *FANTASMIC* job in the role of Belle: in singing and acting!! If PAIGE O'HARA, *Susan Egan*, and *ALAN MENKEN* agreed that she was a *PRACTICALLY PERFECT fit* in both those regards, then that was/is *that*! And the rest of the cast, as well.
