Hello! I am trying to exchange some items from the game AC-New Leaf. Would you be interested?
(Please, sorry for the bother if you are not).

Aw! Thank you!
I've been working really hard. I try drawing once a day in order to get better at my style. I used to draw so much when I was a kid, but when I got in high school I stopped. I decided to take up the tablet again and draw. While Art is not my career, it's very much a treasured hobby of mine. C8.
Are you going into are as a career by any chance?

That's good that you're drawing regularly! I stopped drawing sometime in college, and it's been difficult to rekindle the creative spark. I absolutely love my tablet, but it's been through a lot of wear and tear over the years. Art is definitely a great hobby and passion to have!
Unfortunately art is not the career I am going into. I'm still figuring out the career aspect of my life (applying to law school may be in my future), but this year's goal is to start getting back into the swing of things and picking up commissions if possible. I was contracted as a pixel artist for a website for a year, but coworkers and personal life ended that time. I'm still extremely happy with the work I did there though.

I know how it is trying to get the flames of creativity started. I literally poured gasoline all over my spark in order to cause a burst of inferno. >w< I'm glad though that your getting your spark back! Make that tiny spark into a raging fire! I know how it is with tablets.
My own tablet is wearing away and I'm planning to get a new one. I thought about an Intuos tablet. But someone just told me about another tablet that worked better and was a lot cheaper than the tablet. And hey, saving money is awesome!
It took me awhile too in order to find out what I wanted to do. I decided I wanted to be a registered nurse. I hope you find what career appeals to you in life. My own step dad went to law school. What field would you go in if you did law? That's still great that you satisfied from the work you did when you were a pixel artist. C8.
For many, including me. Art will forever be a hobby, that I will willing poor money into. Since I'm also planning to get a macbook pro. >w<

Yep! That's the hope for this year. It's unlikely that I'll get back into tip-top shape immediately, buuut baby steps!
I actually have the Intuos3. It's served me really well all these years... I'm tempted to say I've had it for 8~9 years. Maybe 10 years now... ahah. What tablet are you considering in lieu of the Intuos?
Ooh, that is an awesome career choice! I have a number of friends and acquaintances who are studying to be registered nurses. You all have my utmost respect for the things you do on a routine basis. What are you hoping to do in particular? I've talked with one of my friends, and she's particularly keen on working in ICU after her program finishes. And thank you! I've always waffled between the more academic/nerdy and artistic careers. If I could find an art-related career that fits me to a tee, I would pursue that within a heartbeat. I'm considering IP law though. I've had talks with people about copyright and issues pertaining to it when concerning things like recreations, etc. A great example is what KidRobot does with their random box toys/figurines. My cousin works for them as a toy designer, so we had a lengthy talk about the legality issues and going through them for creating The Simpsons-related, Family Guy, etc. collectibles. It's interesting, and while I'm not the one creating, I'd still like to be involved in some way.
Totally understandable. Some people like to fix up old cars and pour thousands of dollars into it even if they'll never drive the cars, others like to create even if it costs them hundreds of dollars and they might not get a return!

Baby steps are always the best steps. C8. I'm consider the Intuos tablet. A lot of artist have recommended it to me. Including one of my coworkers. But I just heard from another artist about this tablet that might be even better and that more than halfway cheaper. I need to decide, since when I get my MacBook Pro in the spring, I want to get my New Tablet as well. And maybe a new art program.
As of right now, I still know so little of nursing. I know I want to be a registered nurse though because there are more fields you can go into when being a registered nurse. But I don't know what exactly would I be good at. That's awesome that you want to get into something like that. Especially with all the problems on how film directors like to make movies out of books or comics, but don't like crediting the people who make it. And that's a great way to put in art and law at the same time!
I know right! My friend's dad spent almost over 10,000 dollars right now fixing these three old cars. They actually work and he's finished with all three. But now he's got his hands on a motor cycle. lol. That is why I will throw all the money for my art or at least as much as I can before I got into the nursing program. Still trying to get the credits that are needed to get into the program. So I wanted to buy the things I needed and save money before I have to quit my job. Since I heard it was a lot of hard work being in the program and many had to quit jobs to focus on it. But for now I go to school part-time and work at Best Buy. >//<
