Good idea is to first "introduce" an OC, like you did here: [link]
Don't focus so much on the face, or on how the person will or used to look like. Instead, show some various situations - what does he/she wear in winter, what for the rain, show the official and casual outfit. That sort of thing is very useful and also shows that you had some serious insight in your own character and designed it to be multifunctional.

yeah it did thanks that oc in particular i had issues with but my comic ocs are drawn out on big paper with all of what you stated sketched out and stuff but thanks

Hey I saw your pose in OCs and thought I'd lend some crit for getting your work noted.
Host it on wordpress and do publicity pieces, link your wordpress on every site you use.
to get your OCs more noted, try finishing them a little more.
For eg: [link]
that piece is awesome, whereas I feel the rest of your work is rushed.
Also photoshop colouring is hard and fun, play around with it to get different results.

another two things, Practise your perspective drawings: draw thumbnails of people in environments so you get a better idea of how they look from other angles.
Anatomy: People underestimate the importance of anatomy... find fitness magazines and draw the people in them, take into account how they are structured.
