Mm ... since we have spoken (I think), both of my folks have passed on. Both were tricked by a bunch of incompetent doctors, more worried about making money than saving their lives. I have cried at their passing ... with Pop gone too, I buried them both in the Jacksonville National Cemetery which was like loosing Mom all over again. I'm no longer taking my meds, but I am taking my health seriously ... just doing it on my own. It might sound foolish, but I don't trust doctors and until I become too weak to do so, I will take my life into my own hands. Bitter? You're right. But, I eat right ... I try and get out for some exercise and I do my best to stay away from people who would anger or stress me out more than I need to be. Am I happy? I like to think so. I have good friends, good people to work with, and a family who cares about me. With that and a comfortable place to live, I'm better than I have been since before the late 1990s.

G'day. It's been real. I have been busy doing non art stuff a lot to make money and nursing my way through a creative drought. I've also been having some tech issues. I cooked my hdd playing Skyrim and lost a Blender project I was keeping under my hat so I am trying to re-create those lost files but I am sick of making promises that don't come through. In creative writing they tell you to Tell it to the page" before discussing it because once you have said your ideas out loud then you won't have the same impetus to write it. Thought about you today, I had a bunny girl idea.
I wish I knew a way to be as enthusiastic about DA as I used to be but I don't have the steam to climb the slippery pole of popularity. I thought when Mum died I would have MORE time for art not less.
All I seem to do here is make excuses for not being here, lol. If I could upload animations made in Blender I might post a bit more but the rules here are a bit archaic on that score.

Sounds like you've been a busy guy! Sucks losing a big project like that, I faffed around with Blender for a little bit myself, it's a confounding app (for me anyway). Sorry to hear about your HDD going bad, that's the absolute worst. I have an array that's starting to go and I need to find a replacement controller soon or I will lose 4 drives worth of stuff (ugh)
Promises on anything creative are hard to make, sometimes you just hit that slump and you can't bust out of it no matter what you want. I'm in that zone off and on lately
I'm glad you're still knocking about, dA hasn't been a top place for me to visit either, frankly I find it all a bit overwhelming and impersonal these days. There are still a lot of great people like you hanging around so I'm kind of getting back into it. I just have to remind myself that I don't HAVE to look through the 4000+ items that clog up my inbox regularly
I've been on and off this last year, I hit some real depression in 2014 but I feel like I've come out of it finally in 2015, I feel ... different. More like my old self
I'm a bit more confident than I was, I've been doing a bit of livestreaming over the last few months, having people watch while I draw has been a real building experience for me, I think my drawings are getting better, anyway, it's boosted my confidence. I am still behind on commission stuff.
I think this is the last batch of commissions I'm going to do in a long time!
