# About me
I'm a 30 - something living in North Yorkshire. I'm was born down south, moved to the midlands for University, then to Yorkshire, then back to the south coast before eventually relocating to North Yorkshire about 5 years ago.I suffer from a hypoxic brain injury from birth which has effected my life in various ways. Recent complications have left me using a powerchair to get around because of extreme fatigue.
I've also been interested in various kinds of art work. I was forced to choose between arts disciplines at school which left me with problems since I was made to chose between some of my best subjects. I chose to drop art as my problems with my hands meant I was struggling with the more traditional art required.
I did both photography and media studies at college which was were I learned my way around recording media of different sorts. I got my first semi-professional cameras about 6 years ago and have been shooting ever since.
Since my physical and mental health problems have worsened art has once again become an outlet and expression for things I struggle to communicate in other ways - an outlet of feelings and emotions.
In 2015 I should be returned to university to continue in academic work studying for an MA in Medieval Studies at a University of London college. More about that can be found on my website.
