Hm. Well, he was a journalist, and the foremost one that created the journalism genre known as Gonzo--Journalism with no claims of objectivity, in favor of a first-person narrative, incorporating elements of satire, social commentary, pure fiction, and autobiography. I ask, because from one of his articles I'd recently listened to, it actually feels a little Lovecraftian. A sort of descent into a hellish, mad, other world (that was in this case, the Kentucky Derby).
Another, unrelated topic I might as well ask about is Hazbin Hotel. An animated show pilot that recently came out. Any familiarity with that?

Recently started on an interesting game with a slightly Lovecraftian premise: Return of the Obra Dinn.
In it, you're an insurance officer at a lost ship that's just drifted into English waters, with the crew completely gone. You have to figure out who died, and how, with the help of a magic compass that shows the moment they were killed. And... welll...
