Hey there! I'm an amateur artist just trying to fit in a bit somewhere, someplace, somehow. Pardon me if the quality of the art is not good (I don't have a scanner and I just click pictures and upload 'em). Have a nice day... or night, if you're Batman.Few things about meself:
I looooveee Nightwing (he's freaking amazing!). I think he MAY BE better than Batman (a fanboy can dream, right?).
If you consider Marvel, then my favourite is certainly Spider Man, and Deadpool (awesomesauce).
Comics aside, I find reading novels a good healthy past time. Favourites include A Tale of Two Cities, 1984, Crime and Punishment, Gone With the Wind, Lord of the Rings, A Song of Ice and Fire, Great Expectations, A Town Called Alice, My Antonia, etc etc.
If art is my soul, then music is by body. I'm a lead guitarist and singer for a blues rock band CAT-CH. When I'm not drawing, I'm probably playing the 6-string with my buddy drummer. Favourite bands include Led Zeppelin, The Black Keys, John Mayer, Buddy Guy, Slash, ZZ Top, Metallica, The Beatles, Tom Petty, Steve Vai, Motherjane, Ventura Lights, The Doors, etc etc.
TV shows? Hell yeah, lot of 'em. My favourite: The Big Bang Theory and Arrow. Since Flash's TV series is coming soon, it'll be there too. Justice League <3 , FRIENDS, Seinfeld, Comic Book Men, Batman: The Animated Series, Game of Thrones, Sherlock, Family Guy, Futurama, The Walking Dead, Boston Legal, etc etc.
Don't get me started on the movies. But I'll still name some. The Dark Knight Trilogy, The Lord of the Rings, Gangs of Wassepur, Lords of Dogtown, Superman (I, II, & Returns), Iron Man, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Don (I & II), B.A. Pass, Schindler's List, Cool Hand Luke, The King's Speech, Full Metal Jacket, etc etc.
Other things I love to do:
Playing football (soccer). I love it. Manchester United rules! woohoo! Wayne Rooney and RVP are the best striking duo ever since Ronaldo left!
Playing Counter Strike, with my homies. Nothing more needs to be said.
Drawing some more.
Things that I want:
I digital sketchpad. I need it desperately.
A good guitar processor.
A decent laptop.
Comics, comics, comics (not digital, have them in abundance).
A girlfriend. :P

Bertenelli is trying to get ahem with Dick and you're right. I think they changed her pallet but it now reflects her Italian heritage better I guess? I dunno...
But it is an interesting concept and they are really pushing the Dick as a possible pre-meta hard. Your thoughts on it?

It was a pretty good 1st issue. the wig thing confused me for a bit, but it was made up for nicely. people will actually see someone else.
I liked Bertenelli, but I still wish she was the pre-n52 one. She was so cool, then. apart from that, I have no complaints. though seeing Dick use hypnos so early was pushing it a bit far. metahuman Dick? Sure, but later. all in all, I was not disappointed.

If I recall, Ms Warden-of-Blackgate listed him as such. But really I prefer him as a non-meta. It just takes so much of the regular guy with an interesting nightlife feel away from him. Him mastering the hypnos that early seems like they want to really push his status as a possible (or a pre) meta.
Yeah, I have no compliants either but at least we know that Blondewing is Old Dicky.
BTW what do you think of the possible reason why Dick is going undercover in Spyral? I mean, wow - that organisation is seriously figuring out the secret IDs of the heroes of the world. I mean, there are reasons why they keep them secret. Paparazzi is one major thing that springs to mind. Not needing to worry about attacks during their downtime is another.

All in all, the series for me is doing justice to Dicks character. Its just like the way he his. His charms and charisma is all reflected in the art and story which is amazing.
I'm beginning to really like Helena and role in Spyral plus that Mr. Minos! I just hope they incorporate some other member from the bat family or the Justice League! Spyral is the amazing answer to a secret power organisation. I love it.
