# About me
I started drawing as a hobby in high school. My favorite thing was to take comic books and try to draw the images exactly as I saw them. For many years this was the limit to my drawing habits; copying what I saw other people doing.Over the past 5 years I have pushed myself to draw more and more original stuff. I've tried to pick up what I can learn from my favorite artists, and have had to tell myself repeatedly that its OK to use source material in drawing something original.
DeviantART is becoming a huge source of inspiration to me to keep drawing more and more! I love how I can search for exactly the kind of image I want to find, and even have people leave comments on my own work. I'm most excited that this site has both free and paid services available! Money is tight! Thanks for making this place what it is!
