# About me
I am an out of work electrical engineer. I spent most of my life studying electrical / electronic engineering. At one time I thought that this was all there was. Then I began with animation. I began with Flash and moved up to Tonboom. I was at a local art supply store and the manager asked if I had taken any classes in art. I began what would be five years of art school. Most of this focused on pencil, pen and ink, pen and ink and watercolor, watercolor and a bit of acrylic. I even got to do more artistic things at work. I was creating animation of the complex electrical work that I was doing. I could do an animation in a couple of hours that took me weeks to build, program and test out. I was also able to do renderings of finished work that I proposed. For me this was like finding the missing piece. I believe the art and science work well together. I am now adding art to many of the things that I am programming. This give this work a more professional look.
