Writers block sux. Have you ever thought about trying to write a creation story. You know, one about how we all came into being. I think your great expressive vocabulary would make for a wonderful story. Just a thought.

I think its fantastic you had an opportunity to go to Wolf Park and experience the pack first hand/paw. I have been following their work for years and look forward to a personal visit myself before the year is out.

I thank you so much for your kind words. You've no idea how much they mean...you called me "artistic". Wow! See..my brother & sister could both draw..very well..and I couldn't do anything. I thought the "art" gene had passed me by. It wasn't until I looked through the lens of a camera that I thought that perhaps it hadn't after all. So thank you for that compliment!

thanks Dark Claw for your input on following the rules and regulations governed by the state. I pay enough in taxes, registrations and the like that I am not offering anymore funds to the state. Does anyone not see the murder of the wolf population? No, I dont think I'm saving the breed, but I am not going to hand over my dogs because some law making fool has decided they are predators. According to wolfdogalliance.org's rules for Florida: "Pure wolves and hybrids which are 25% or less domestic dog require a $100 permit per year unless exempted as a researcher." Provisions include owner "demonstrates no less than one year of substantial practical experience (to consist of no less than 100 hours) plus successfully complete a written examination on the care, feeding, handling and husbandry of the species for which the permit is sought, or other species, within the same biological family ... which are substantially similar in size, characteristics, care and nutritional requirements to the species for which the permit is sought," is able to provide a proper diet, health care and exercise, caging meets minimum specifications and that the neighborhood setting is appropriate." There are yard, containment, housing and care requirements. Those animals that are 75% or more wolf must be permitted as Class II wildlife."
